how to get rid of camel crickets, spider crickets

Ok

It's Spring/Summertime in MD/VA area and than means all sorts of little critters running around the house

So here's a really easy way to vacuum up those camel crickets- you know the one's in the basement that have the really long legs and jump out at you when you try to get them- (you can use this technique with really any type of cricket or fast moving bug)

do this with a calm, positive mindset

step 1-  grab a small empty box
step 2- cut through the tape on both top and bottom of box
step 3- extend out the 4 flaps on the top and bottom of the box so it's sitting on the floor with the bottom flaps touching the floor and the top flaps will come up to about knee high (doing this makes the box stand about twice-three times as tall as without flaps extended)
step 4- at this point you will put the box on the ground fully extended and this will act as a fence around whatever you put it on
step 5- carefully walk up to the camel cricket and carefully, slowly place the box over top so it is "boxed in" on the floor
step 6- grab that vacuum and carefully- slowly vaccuum it up- no sudden movements just real slick like

Hope this helps someone

Spread the word- this is a great way to vacuum up these little nuisances

Best
